Teide National Park

Located in the centre of the island of Tenerife, Teide National Park is the oldest and largest national park in the Canary Islands, covering 18,990 hectares. It is dominated by Mount Teide, a 3,718-metre volcano and the highest peak in Spain. The park is renowned for its extraordinary volcanic landscapes, striking geological formations and unique biodiversity. In 2007, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
