Sierra de las Nieves National Park

Located in the heart of Málaga province in Andalusia, Sierra de las Nieves National Park is a natural area of outstanding ecological and scenic value. Covering around 23,000 hectares, it is known for its unique Spanish fir (pinsapo) forests, striking karst formations and remarkable biodiversity. Declared a National Park in 2021, it has also been part of the Biosphere Reserve network since 1995 and the Intercontinental Mediterranean Biosphere Reserve since 2006.
