Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park

Declared in 1990, Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park is the largest protected natural area in Aragón, covering 47,453 hectares with an additional buffer zone of 33,286 hectares. Located in the Pre-Pyrenees of Huesca, the park is internationally recognised for its spectacular karst formations, deep canyons and dramatic ravines. It also preserves remarkable biodiversity and an important cultural heritage, including prehistoric rock art listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
