Montseny Natural Park

Montseny Natural Park

Montseny Natural Park is located between the provinces of Barcelona and Girona, in Catalonia, and is one of the most diverse natural areas in northeastern Spain. Declared a natural park in 1977 and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978, it features a wide range of ecosystems shaped by altitude, from Mediterranean forests to beech and fir woodlands. Its varied landscapes and accessible mountain terrain make it one of the most valued natural environments near Barcelona.
