Declared in 1989, Montes de Málaga Natural Park is located just north of the city of Málaga in Andalusia, southern Spain. Covering approximately 4,995 hectares, this protected area is characterised by its mountainous terrain and extensive pine forests, acting as the main green lung of the city. Its close proximity to Málaga makes it an ideal destination for hiking, outdoor activities and environmental education.
