Declared in 1983 and expanded in 1986, Ebro Delta Natural Park is the largest wetland in Catalonia and one of the most important in Western Europe. Located at the mouth of the Ebro River in the province of Tarragona, this protected area is renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, distinctive landscapes and wide variety of habitats. It stands out as one of the Mediterranean’s most significant coastal ecosystems.
